Randolph Together HubCAP Coordinator

The Elkins community has been building momentum, as the Randolph Together team, in The Hub’s Communities of Achievement Program (HubCAP) for the past 18 months. During this program, Elkins has received technical support to implement community development projects deemed critical to the economic vitality of the area. Building on this momentum, the Randolph Together team will support the community of Elkins as they begin The Hub’s Downtown Appalachia: Revitalizing Recreational Economies (DARRE) in Fall 2022. The team is seeking an AmeriCorpsVISTA member to support continued community engagement, outreach, and more. This VISTA project will be hosted by the Elkins-Randolph Chamber of Commerce, and will collaborate with local leaders in community and economic development across the community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for local businesses, value partnership, and possess strong organizational skills. Experience with social media is also beneficial, but not required. For questions about the application process, please contact Community Coaching Associate, Olivia McConnell, at o.mcconnell@wvhub.org. This position will begin on August 15, 2022.
