Community Engagement VISTA @ The Partnership
 
 
 
The Fairmont Community Development Partnership (The Partnership) has served the Fairmont Community since 1992. Over the past thirty years, the partnership has seen many successes, including the construction of twenty-four affordable housing units on eleven different properties, providing safe, comfortable housing for dozens of families. The Partnership promotes community and economic development along with neighborhood revitalization and affordable housing in targeted low-income areas. Its mission is to improve quality of life by assisting low-income families with safe, decent, housing and promoting business growth as part of local community development. The Partnership is focused on strengthening relationships in the Fairmont community to engage community residents in collaborative improvement efforts in this year of it's VISTA project.

Member Duties : The Community Engagement Coordinator VISTA will serve in Fairmont and greater Marion County, West Virginia. During their term, the member will lead the development of The Partnership's volunteer program, community outreach and engagement initiatives, support the capacity development of The Partnership's fundraising efforts, and develop relationships with key community stakeholders. The ideal person to fill this role will have experience with digital engagement through social media and similar means.
