The goal of the Veteran's Success Center Summer Associate program is to enhance the success of student veterans on campus by improving their access to economic and educational supports and resources. In addition, this work helps to enhance the opportunities and ability of low-income students and employees to overcome poverty by improving their access to economic supports and resources.

Member Duties : The Summer Associate will be responsible for developing an outreach program for student veterans, active duty military, and military families. They will educate new veterans, active duty military, and military families during orientation sessions (Summer Preview). The Summer Associate will also meet with student veterans and active duty military and assist them in utilizing campus and community resources. They will coordinate and facilitate training for new student assistants hired to work in the Collegiate Veterans Success Center, provide administrative support for, and promote the Collegiate Veterans Success Center (CVSC).
