Catherine McAuley Center: Educational Services VISTA; IAMNCC

The Catherine McAuley Center offers hope and opportunity through educational and supportive services that promote stability, skill-building, and connection. The Educational Services program helps over 450 students in a typical year to learn English, math, computer, conversation skills, and study for the citizenship exam. This VISTA position addresses a growing need in our student population for needed English vocabulary in the workplace. This project is part of the Community Corps VISTA Program, operated by Iowa & Minnesota Campus Compact. The program strives to eliminate poverty through campus-community partnerships by placing full-time capacity building support in nonprofit organizations and higher education institutions. ***Please also send cover letter and resume to supervisor. Interviews will occur on a rolling basis. Preference given to candidates who apply early.***
