Catherine McAuley: Race, Gender, & Homelessness, IAMNCC

The Catherine McAuley Center offers hope and opportunity through educational and supportive services that promote stability, skill-building, and connection. Our Women’s Services program provides Transitional and Supportive Housing to more than 50 individuals each year. Participants in the programs receive trauma-informed case management support, assistance connecting with resources appropriate to their needs, and partake in female-responsive community-building groups. Additionally, our organization seeks to research and raise awareness in the community about the needs of vulnerable populations, and work with key stakeholders to institute real change. This project is part of the Community Corps VISTA Program, operated by Iowa & Minnesota Campus Compact. The program strives to eliminate poverty through campus-community partnerships by placing full-time capacity building support in nonprofit organizations and higher education institutions. ***Please also send cover letter and resume to supervisor. Interviews will occur on a rolling basis. Preference given to candidates who apply early.***
