Make-A-Day Foundation-Fundraising & Donor Relations

Make-A-Day (MAD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to outreach and support for central Ohio’s chronically homeless, economically disadvantaged, and socially marginalized populations. Founded in 2017, MAD initially focused on building meaningful, humanizing relationships with the unsheltered community through radical hospitality, offering free haircuts, gourmet meals, and essential clothing and hygiene supplies. Since its inception, MAD has expanded significantly, with its flagship program, Mobile Outreach, providing weekly street outreach services. This program also includes bloc-party-style “pop-up” events and housing resource clinics designed to assist the unhoused and impoverished. By combining intentional mobility with a relationship-centered approach, Mobile Outreach creates fair opportunities for marginalized individuals to reconnect with their community and access critical resources.
