Member Duties : The Economic Mobility VISTA will develop survey of past program participants that will gather their feedback for process improvements to the program. Build relationships with the public housing management team to establish effective recruitment strategies to engage more clients in the program. Research and develop strategies to increase recruitment of families into the program. The Summer Associate will also build collaboration efforts with Spartanburg Academic and SC Works to assist graduated seniors with post-secondary education and/or workforce opportunities. Collaborate with public housing and housing choice voucher families to track data of late rent, income, job readiness, to improve economic opportunity. Develop sufficiency process with public housing tenants and housing choice voucher participants to refer to agencies and build relationships with families to understand their needs to improve how Spartanburg Housing can meet the needs for families to become self-sufficiency.
