Summer- Willis Dady Communications Liaison VISTA
 
 
 
The Communications Liaison VISTA manages our front desk and act as the hub of our external communications. They greet the public and welcome everyone into our locations. They answer phones, transfer calls, and take messages. Communications Liaison VISTAs will be trained to answer basic questions about our programs and community resources. When there is no one in need of assistance, the VISTA will update the front desk guidebook to keep all policies and procedures up to date. These changes will be communicated to all relevant staff and volunteers. The VISTA will also create training materials and professional development resources for volunteers who will come after them.

Member Duties : The Communications Liaison VISTA will direct external communications within our sites. They will transfer calls, take messages, and answer basic questions about our programs. They will revise the current guidebook, making changes as new policies arise. They will develop training resources and compile professional development coaching to be used with future volunteers.
