‘21 VIP - Community Engagement Coordinator VISTA - CAC
 
 
 
This position is part of the VISTAs in the Piedmont (VIP) program sponsored by United Way of the Piedmont. As an AmeriCorps VISTA at Children’s Advocacy Center of Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union Counties, you will utilize social media and other outreach techniques to enhance donor engagement while researching improvement strategies. You will also research, develop, and implement new fundraising strategies for the organization, and help to improve the systems of volunteer engagement and management. Additionally, you will review current intake practices and identify areas for improvement with a focus on inclusivity. The VIP program offers a unique approach to VISTA service, as you will spend 10% of your time each week working collaboratively with 19 other VISTA members placed in the community to research and implement community-wide solutions focusing on either increasing access to behavioral healthcare or increasing financial stability. Member Duties : The AmeriCorps VISTA member will help increase the capacity of Children’s Advocacy Center of Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union Counties (CAC) to serve all children in need of CAC services by increasing donor engagement, developing new fundraising initiatives, and improving current systems and processes.
