"The AmeriCorps member serving at the College for Social Innovation as the Marketing will highlight the anti-poverty work that is done at our wide network of host organizations that fellows are exposed to through the development of marketing and communications materials to engage this community and increase our network of organizations doing crucial anti-poverty work. The biweekly living allowance for this position is $1.027.88 in Suffolk county. In addition to the benefits listed, the host site will provide monthly benefits that include up to $250 per month in housing reimbursement, up to $80 per month in phone/internet reimbursement, a monthly MBTA pass valued at $90, and access to a $250 annual professional development fund. The AmeriCorps member serving at the College for Social Innovation as the Marketing AmeriCorps member will be part of a dynamic, motivated corps with Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA. Serving as a member of a corps provides the chance to connect with other members throughout multiple states, create a network of support, and to share resources. As the intermediary, Campus Compact, a national non-profit, supports the professional and personal growth of AmeriCorps members through a variety of professional development opportunities and in-person trainings including overnight retreats throughout their service year. Member Duties : The Campus Compact AmeriCorps member serving at College for Social Innovation as the Marketing AmeriCorps member will build capacity by creating marketing materials to showcase the accessibility and life-changing potential of high-impact learning experiences, such as Semester in the City (SITC) and show how increasing access to opportunities for low-income students impacts their trajectory.
