Storytime Village Summer Associate
 
 
 
Storytime Village, Inc. is a Kansas based children's literacy nonprofit organization. With the support of parents and the community we inspire underserved children to read by providing them with free books and literacy resources. We recognize that, for children, books open doors to opportunities, new worlds and experiences, and overall build their self-esteem. For that reason, we strive to give every child in Kansas an opportunity for a better future through literacy. Summer Associates will assist with the planning, organization and implementation of Storytime Village’s summer literacy camp activities. They will help to install Little Free Libraries (LFLs), distribute books and activate the LFLs and surrounding neighborhoods with literacy, art, and entrepreneurship activities. And they will participate in 1 of 5 cohorts to help build capacity for Storytime Village, which include: creative writing, marketing, early literacy, production, or special events/outreach.

Member Duties : Participate in activities as a group and within their cohorts to help Storytime Village improve literacy in Kansas.
