Storytime Village Television Production Summer Associate
 
 
 
The Television Production Summer Associate will support the creation of literacy-based media content, including puppetry, storytelling, and educational programming. This content is designed to engage children in reading and reinforce literacy skills through accessible, high-quality media. By expanding access to engaging literacy content, the Summer Associate supports increased reading interest and comprehension, critical factors in academic success and long-term economic opportunity.

Member Duties : - Develop and perform literacy-based content (puppetry, storytelling, scripted segments) designed to engage children - Assist in writing scripts and songs that promote reading and comprehension skills - Support production of educational content aligned with early literacy outcomes - Participate in rehearsals and filming to ensure high-quality, engaging programming - Collaborate with team to create content that reinforces social-emotional learning themes - Track audience reach and participation in related literacy activities - Support engagement activities that connect media content to reading participation
