Marketing and Special Events Summer Associate
 
 
 
The Marketing & Special Events Coordinator will serve with Storytime Village, Inc. to support participation in literacy programming by coordinating outreach, communication, and event logistics for programs such as LEAP Camp and Storytime in the Park. This role focuses on ensuring children and families are informed, prepared, and consistently engaged in literacy activities. By increasing participation and attendance, the Summer Associate contributes to improved student engagement in reading and strengthened social-emotional development.

Member Duties : This role supports increased participation in literacy programming, which is directly linked to improved academic engagement and social-emotional development: - Develop and distribute program communications to ensure families are informed about literacy programming opportunities - Support coordination of events such as LEAP Camp and Storytime in the Park to ensure strong attendance and participation - Manage communication with families (reminders, follow-ups) to support consistent participation in literacy activities - Assist with event setup and coordination to create a welcoming environment that encourages engagement - Capture program activities (photos/videos) to support ongoing family engagement and participation - Support real-time engagement during events by welcoming families and encouraging participation in literacy activities - Track number of students and families participating in programs (ED1) - Monitor attendance and engagement in literacy activities (ED5)
