'21-'22 Communications and Marketing Coordinator VISTA

Turning Pointe Survivor Advocacy Center (Shelton, WA) has been serving survivors in the community for over 20 years. We provide advocacy, legal and general, emergency shelter (2nd largest in the state), referrals, support groups, youth advocacy, 24-helpline, and prevention education. Communication and marketing efforts have been hit or miss due to many other priorities, but we also realize we need to step up our game to better provide advocacy and expand our support. The project will be to design, establish and implement a sustainable scalable marketing and communication plan that meets our needs.

Member Duties : Turning Pointe Survivor Advocacy Center is in need of that talented, passionate self-starting individual to help us pull all of our communication and marketing needs into one cohesive plan. You will have the opportunity to work alongside the Executive Director to establish a quality communication plan. 1. Review our current communication and marketing efforts. 2. Design a sustainable communication calendar. 3. Coordinate and maximize our communication efforts. 4. Train staff on how to leverage platforms. 5. Design and produce monthly emails, annual newsletter, year end appeal and other regular communication. 6. Help promote Power of the Purse and design Program and materials as needed. 7. Update Website as needed. 8. Write blog posts with Executive Director for website.
