Communities in Action - Flathead Lakes

Communities in Action Corps (CIA Corps) is a direct service AmeriCorps program servicing counties across the state of Montana. CIA Corps is public health based with a strong emphasis on the social determinants of health. In conjunction with Montana State Parks, CIA Corps will work toward the four main program goals of enhancing park land, enriching educational opportunities, building volunteer capacity, and strengthening community outreach. They will perform capacity building activities such as creating and offering educational programs; participating in and hosting community events; and by developing volunteer opportunities that get more people involved and excited about experiencing the outdoors under the “Big Sky”.
