Minnesota Alliance With Youth- Alliance VISTA Leader

Alliance VISTAs provide indirect support and serve as capacity builders in their communities, with the ultimate goal of supporting more youth to graduate and closing the opportunity and achievement gaps in Minnesota. Alliance VISTAs create, strengthen, and connect resources and best practices to better serve youth, especially young people of color and young people living in poverty. Alliance VISTA Members help facilitate the necessary school-community partnerships that are critical to closing the achievement gaps in our state by intentionally partnering with AmeriCorps Promise Fellows and targeting communities that are most impacted by educational inequities. The Alliance VISTA Leader supports the cohort of 12 Alliance VISTA members. You must have completed a term of service (VISTA, full-time AmeriCorps, or Peace Corps) prior to the start date in order to be eligible to serve as VISTA Leader.
