Member Duties : The AmeriCorps member will assist our College Career Counselor in serving students and families to fill out their FAFSA forms and assist with organizing their financial information to ensure that students can maximize their award. The financial aid process is both confusing and time consuming and we hope to ease the minds of our students and families regarding this important process. Catholic Charities graduated 97 students July 2019- July 2020 and over 60% of HSE graduates. The need is great, especially during a time of economic unrest.
The EOC member will serve within the Workforce & Education Department and will be assigned to College Placement division, which assists High School graduates from our TYT Program, Jump Start Program, Raise the Age Program, and ECC Pathways. The College Placement Department reports directly to the Workforce & Education Director.
