CCMA IRC Center for Economic Opportunity
CEO is a start-up operation, currently managed by a 7-person team and actively in the process of scaling its operations nationally. Reporting to CEO’s Director, the Communications CCMA AmeriCorps VISTA will support development of CEO’s capacity to engage with borrowers and stakeholder via web and social media. Specifically, the VISTA will work closely with the Director and Communications Coordinator to update and implement CEO’s Communications Plan, enhance CEO’s social media presence, support content creation and publishing, and identify and monitor key performance metrics (KPI) to inform impact and iterative cycles of improvement. The position will collaborate with staff and clients of IRC in Baltimore implementing CEO loans and related programs to gain further exposure and context of CEO’s work and the barriers to upward mobility for refugee and other credit-thin households. This position will be critical to building IRC’s capacity by supporting the execution and evaluation of CEO’s Communications Strategy – inclusive of working closely with the director and communications coordinator in growing CEO’s social media presence and playing a significant role in helping CEO establish and build borrower and stakeholder engagement.

Member Duties : The position will have flexibility in taking on tasks within the broader communication strategy that are aligned with the CCMA AmeriCorps VISTA's areas of interest and future career goals, including: social media development, implementation, web development, graphic design, development, testing and refinement of key messaging, and ongoing key performance indicators/data analytics on effectiveness of said efforts.
