Equity Alliance MN- Equity Continuous Improvement VISTA

Though we will want the VISTA engaged in every facet of our organization, we will support their focus on four key areas: 1. Develop equity audit tools and processes. We currently deliver equity audits to a variety of educational organizations. We continue to seek to create strategies that best support our audits, research that informs our work, and tools that can support custom-tailored audits. Understand different technology platforms and supports that aid us in delivering services. 2. Develop and support professional development activities and curriculum. The VISTA will support developing a catalog of professional development activities, curriculum, research, and resources based on best practice to continue building and guiding our work. Understand different technology platforms and supports that aid us in delivering services. 3. Support the development of student programs. This will include creating a curriculum guided by youth voice and opportunities to engage in youth leadership, empowerment, and development. Understand and implement different technology platforms and supports that aid us in delivering services. 4. Explore opportunities for growth for our organization. Assist in the grant writing process, provide outreach to new clients, develop and support fundraising efforts, and develop new ideas to assist in the financial stability of the organization.

Support the development evaluation tools to gauge the effectiveness of our professional development. Support the development of student programs. Create a curriculum guided by youth voice and opportunities to engage in youth leadership, empowerment, and development. This will be done alongside our Student Program Coordinator. Support the development evaluation tools to gauge the effectiveness of our professional development. They will also be integral in exploring opportunities for growth for our organization.
