PAL Volunteer Coordinator VISTA

The goal of the project iso recruit and retain volunteers to support Memphis Shelby Police Activities League (PAL) youth, ages 5-18 who live in impoverished areas by using sport activities as a method to prevent crime, build character, and reduce the stresses that poverty has on a young person’s life. In partnership with the Memphis Police, the PAL program will provide positive activities as alternatives and encounters with law enforcement to build trust with the community members. The VISTA will expand upon the volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and training process and procedures. The process and procedures are to incorporate methods of execution for virtual execution.
