Focus: HOPE Youth Summer Associate
Focus: HOPE provides workforce development training, early childhood education, food security for senior citizens and advocacy programming through asset-based community development work. These programs aim to create a pipeline of opportunity, with strong supports and access to opportunity from cradle to post-secondary education. Mission: Recognizing the dignity and beauty of every person, we pledge intelligent and practical action to overcome racism, poverty, and injustice. And to build a metropolitan community where all people may live in freedom, harmony, trust and affection. Focus: HOPE’s early learning programs educate over 200 children per year, and provide over 250 mothers with peer to peer support for pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and early parenting.

Member Duties : Our goal for the Summer Program is to provide youth with a positive and friendly environment. The Summer Associates will assist with the Youth Development Program and ensure that children are learning new and innovative things such as health and wellness, photography, literacy, and mentoring. Summer Associates will supervise youth and ensure their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and general well-being. This position will be in-person during regular business hours. The Summer Associate will work in the Children's Center 35 hours weekly.
