| Member Duties : Help feed our local community by working in our urban garden. Working with our knowledgeable and dedicated team you will learn and put to practice all aspects of urban gardening, including: planting, growing, maintaining, and harvesting produce grown in raised bed gardens and the greenhouse, as well as working with our compost facility. Your efforts this summer would assist with: improving food insecurity, increasing access to fresh produce, enhancing dietary habits as a result of increased fresh fruits and vegetable in-take, reducing organic waste, lowering carbon footprint, and promoting higher yields of urban crops as a result of composting. No prior gardening experience is required.
