ShareCorps- The Foodbank- Summer Urban Garden Associate
Work alongside a fun-loving team that values creativity and ingenuity! The Foodbank is passionate about relieving hunger in the community through innovation, unwavering commitment, hard work, and a desire to have some fun time along the way. Together, we distribute more than 16 million pounds of food each year and operate critically important programs in the Miami Valley. The Foodbank operates a spectacular urban garden, including 40 raised beds and a hydroponic greenhouse to increase locally grown produce and help those in need. The addition of an innovative composting facility helps reduce food waste while increasing higher yields in the garden.
