| Member Duties : VISTA associates will assist with all aspects of operating the community garden through cycles of planting, growth and harvesting to replanting areas several times over a season. Recordkeeping will be an important tool for monitoring the health of the ecosystem and discerning systemic weaknesses and missing elements. VISTA associates will utilize data collected in developing better methods for promoting garden health and productivity. Results will be shared through different media platforms to build a local knowledge base of sustainable gardening methods. VISTA associates will also explore how their results can leverage community and financial support. Enjoy a flexible schedule.
