The COVID-19 pandemic illuminated the importance of eliminating the digital divide in rural communities. Families living in poverty lost access to educational opportunities, support services, and anti-poverty programming. To combat the effects of the digital divide, the Town of Camp Verde Library needs a VISTA to form a volunteer program to address the effects of the digital divide

Member Duties : 1. Create a volunteer program where volunteers recognize how their current and future roles and activities are key to sustaining the project. 2. Create effective multidisciplinary solutions to overcome the digital divide 3. Increase the quality, availability and accessibility of library services available to low-income households and individuals. 4.Ensure there is a sustainable transfer of knowledge, products, and relationships to the appropriate member/volunteer/staff who will be picking up elements of your project after your service year
