PCCE- Finger Lakes Community College

*Applicant will need to provide Covid-19 vaccine documentation* This project is designed as a collaborative effort between Geneva City School District and FLCC to lead a change effort in moving the post-secondary enrollment to accelerate student success. The VISTA will collaborate with high school, college and other related partners to form college access teams. Increase capacity towards college access and increase students’ and parents’ awareness of admissions and enrollment processes and timelines. These teams will support systematic changes in college-seeking or career pathways in the community. The VISTA will assist in the transition of the Y3 project toward full sustainability; Finalizing resources and a common curriculum for Middle School youth that would focus on a series of career explorations; provide a student voice to bring back to the Action Team; Enhancing sessions geared on FASFA and applications for college. This work would tie into the 21st-century grant in the school district.
