VISTA members will collaborate with nonprofits and local government agencies to strengthen existing and build new relationships with the Latinx community. The VISTA member will do this through a variety of interventions: 1) Translation Services. The member will work directly with community and government partners to make materials and services more widely accessible to the target demographic. 2) Cultural Competency. The Member will develop materials to inform community partners of the cultural assets and needs of the local Latinx community. The VISTA member will serve as a liaison between the Latinx community and associate non-profits on the one side, and the larger governmental, nonprofit, and civic organization environment on the other.
