Arizona Serve -The Launch Pad- Events and Activities Coord.

* Applications accepted on a rolling basis. Boys to Men Mentoring is an organization under the umbrella of The Launch Pad whose mission is to create fundamental positive change in the lives of young men, mentors, and community members by harnessing the power of rites of passage and group mentoring activities. The Launch Pad’s mission is to incite teen confidence and empowerment through innovative community education and engagement. They are an all-inclusive, youth-driven and focused space, providing programming that is culturally relevant to teens. The VISTA member will serve as the events and activities coordinator and will be responsible for communicating programming, spearheading logistics, strengthening community ties, updating fund development tasks, and planning adventure groups. COVID-19 Considerations: In-person work with high school youth will be a critical aspect of this role. Outdoor spaces are utilized when possible. Indoor space leveraged is a larger warehouse where physical distancing can be maintained. Masks are required in all interventions.
