Taos Entrepreneurial Network

This project will build capacity in economically distressed, rural communities by supporting key components of the Enchanted Circle Economy and engaging difficult to reach unemployed workers. Building upon the work done in the first year of VISTA service for the Taos Entrepreneurial Network, member will support emerging sectors for the region such as outdoor recreation, and capacity building for impoverished and vulnerable populations. Through support of low-income youth, unemployed persons, and emerging sectors, project will result in more fully developed, multi-community trail partnerships, more micro-enterprise, and job opportunities for low-income residents related to increased visitation and tourism. Through these actions, member activities will alleviate poverty, reduce unemployment, and provide a better quality of life for the Enchanted Circle community.
