Fund Development Coordinator VISTA
 
 
 
The VISTA member will work to alleviate poverty and build program capacity by researching and pursuing funding that will serve to benefit our members with job skills and employment by providing resources to the organization. In addition, the VISTA will increase our visibility in the community via our Boss Track Program leading to increased funding and community partnership, highlighting our members success to empowerment. Successful applicants will have passion for the VISTA experience, effective written and verbal communication skills, experience working in nonprofits or public agencies, excellent organizational and creative problem-solving capabilities, emotional intelligence, and project and time management skills. This position requires collaboration, flexibility, and adaptability. To be eligible for this position, candidates must commit to serving full-time for one year with Re-Entry Solutions. Re-Entry Solutions’ mission is to work with existing community resources.

Member Duties : The VISTA will raise the profile of the Re-Entry Solutions organization, which builds sustainable partnerships with local, state and federal agencies. This VISTA will increase partnerships and funding to ensure skill development and resources for program capacity is achieved. Relationship building with local employers, local institutions of higher education, the community and the surrounding parishes to increase charitable contributions and improve donor relations throughout Central Louisiana. The position will develop a plan for funding stability and growth which will serve to enhance and maintain the organization's goals and objectives. Additional funding opportunities will be pursued and acquired through local, state, regional and national foundations both public and private, federal, state, and local government, civic groups, and businesses.
