Tillamook County Community Health Centers, is a Federally Qualified Health Center, offering traditional Public Health services via three community health centers. TCCHC is committed to providing quality service without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, gender, disability, political beliefs, age, sexual orientation, or religious creed; and no one is refused service due to inability to pay. TCCHC focuses on prevention and uses selected interventions to prevent the spread of disease and reduce health risks. Prevention strategies are population based and designed to improve the health of communities. The Tillamook County Health Equity and Access VISTA will be a critical piece of this county’s vision, working collaboratively with team members and community partners to identify health equity barriers and create healthy communities within the county. Tillamook County is known for its natural beauty and outdoor activities, including public beaches, abundant hiking, and water trails. It is also very close to urban areas, such as Portland! With the innovative public health work happening in Oregon, Tillamook is a wonderful place to explore a future in public health. The OHA VISTA Partnership Project is committed to building a diverse workforce. We strongly encourage candidates from communities of color, disability, LGBTQIA, and linguistically diverse populations to consider application to our positions.
