AVANCE Austin VISTA Donor & Volunteer Relations Coordinator
 
 
 
AVANCE-Austin has been in the Austin area since 1997. We provide education and resources for Spanish speaking families with young children to have the tools needed to thrive in the community. Using our unique two generation education and relationship-building methodology, we help family members become the best parents, employees, and citizens they can be. Our hallmark program Parent-Child Education Program (PCEP), is a two-generational program that works with both parents and their young children, newborn to 3 years of age, so that parents increase their knowledge and confidence in being their child’s first and most important teacher, while their children attain optimal development and school readiness curriculum. In addition to PCEP, AVANCE-Austin offers Triple P - Positive Parenting Practices, English as a Second Language, Summer Nutrition & Literacy, AVANCE Innovative Moms and Dads (AIMs) and the Mamas Avanzando Alum—all programs geared to help our families advance in the community

Member Duties : The Donor & Volunteer Relations Coordinator is an integral part of our three-member development team. The Donor and Volunteer Relations Coordinator will develop and improve volunteer projects and recruitment efforts. The VISTA will also update database and donor records; analyze giving history conduct donor research; create and manage donor stewardship initiatives; as well as assist with event logistics. The VISTA will work closely with the mission-driven staff of a vibrant organization experiencing exponential growth at a time when our underserved Latinx community continues to grow.
