Business Development Outreach & Stewardship Coordinator

To help More Than Words grow and empower 60% more system-involved youth in a work-based social enterprise youth development program, this project will focus on growing sources and developing partnerships with future stakeholders to grow our clothing donations stream that fuel our new businesses. We need to grow the number of clothing and textile donations that we source from 250k pieces in FY20 to over 1M by end of FY21 to sustain our larger enterprise, and this will require significant work in developing new partnerships and engaging recurring clothing donors. Additionally, the Business Development Vista will be engaging with donors to continue the steady stream of books during this time of uncertainty. This is a new earned revenue stream for our businesses this year and the vista will work with our current partners to source clothing suitable for direct sales on our e-commerce platforms as well as 3rd party marketplaces. The Business Development VISTA will focus on engaging the community through book and clothing drives, outreach to new partners to place book and clothing bins, setup community drop centers, market our new sourcing strategy to our current and new partners and assist with rebranding our current marketing materials to cater to the entirety of our youth-run sourcing streams. This vista will also continue the work of our current position to obtain real-time feedback and track data for our systems in order for us to better service our partners and make informed decisions about technology or system implementation.
