The AmeriCorps member at this site will help recruit, train, and manage volunteers to expand the capacity of water education programs and community improvement projects to reach and benefit low-income youth in the greater St. Louis region. The AmeriCorps member will help to build the capacity of water education and stewardship programs by identifying and researching donors, sponsors, grants and partners for water education and stewardship. The AmeriCorps member will help Open Space Council increase their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within their programs.

Member Duties : The AmeriCorps member at this site will help recruit, train, and manage volunteers for the Open Space Council of the St. Louis region; identify and research funding opportunities; and increase the organization's commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equity within their programs. The AmeriCorps member will help increase the capacity of the organization's water education and community improvement projects to reach and benefit low-income youth in the greater St. Louis region.
