CoF Cultural & Visitor's Center Project Development VISTA

The primary goal for the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitor's Center (MTCVC) Project Development VISTA will be to build organizational capacity to increase the center’s anti-poverty programing. The MTCVC and its partners, Tanana Chiefs Conference and Denakkanaaga, are exploring several project concepts that address overcoming poverty through connecting people with social service resources, job skills development, and by embracing cultural heritage. The MTCVC Project Development VISTA will help research new project concepts, determine the viability of the concepts, develop implementation/business plans for the projects, forge the needed partnerships, secure the needed resources, and build capacity for the projects. This is a volunteer service position with a living allowance of $1,333 per month and an annual education award of $6,345 or cash stipend of approximately $1,800.
