ACLT Economic Development in Response to COVID-19

The Anchorage Community Land Trust is a nonprofit working in Anchorage neighborhoods. Our toolkit of commercial corridor real estate, community organizing, improving neighborhood assets, and targeted programs works to improve quality of life and economic outcomes in our communities. In 2020, we saw firsthand the need for new programming that works with communities recovering from the impacts of COVID-19. This VISTA project will assist with that work, which builds on the successes of ACLT’s Set Up Shop entrepreneurship program and Grow North Farm urban farm program.
