Development & Special Events VISTA
 
 
 
Junior Achievement is looking for VISTA members in Arkansas to ensure K12 students receive work force skills, financial literacy training and entrepreneurship education to promote social mobility and bring them and their families out of poverty. This is a virtual position located in Arkansas that will connect you with some of the Arkansas' top influencers. Are you looking to build your resume with powerful connections? This opportunity will give you exposure to fundraising and planning special events. Members will establish a stewardship plan, secure revenue and in-kind resources, conduct research on potential donors and foundations, and explore employer company matching programs. Experience with fundraising database platforms and corporate solicitation skills are preferred. This position may include limited travel within a small regional area. Member Duties : Special Events - Prospecting Research-Resource generation-Implement a campaign- grant submissions- create a marketing plan around Giving Tuesday - Develop event themes for special events - Donor Management - Create a system of development appeals correspondence around special events and secure a class funding- create a special appeal plan
