Member Duties : The Gleaning Specialist supports Pierce Conservation District’s work by increasing the education and training of environmental stewards within the urban landscape. They will plan and manage volunteer fruit tree and farm gleaning events; recruit and train volunteers; conduct outreach to underrepresented communities; provide logistical support for workshops; create new and update existing promotional materials.
