The Experience Matters AmeriCorps Program seeks to decrease reading difficulties and increase the joy of reading to K-8 students attending Title I schools in an Out-of-School Time (OST) program setting. The program was founded on evidence-based research and aims to provide caring, trained support to students experiencing the negative impacts of pandemic learning loss.

Member Duties : A skilled and organized individual will be responsible for maintaining programmatic support to the Experience Matters (EM) AmeriCorps Program Director. In this role, they will aid in the development and facilitation of additional training and continuous learning events for AmeriCorps members, transform member testimonials into social media posts and inspiring stories, and help fortify the program's ability to continue meeting its goals and serving its constituents through capacity-building initiatives. - Attend and support all training facilitation. Aid in the facilitation, development, and/or leading of supplemental training facilitated by the EM Program Director for AC Members. - Aid in the development of additional event-hosting - Support Experience Matters social media projects focused on member impact and stories - Act as a Team Lead. Connect with members and build camaraderie, facilitating icebreakers and leadership exercises. You will not supervise AmeriCorps members.
