Exposure Skate empowers women and girls through skateboarding and teaches compassion through service. We offer a range of classes, camps, retreats, college scholarships and events for all ages which incorporate social and emotional learning through skateboarding, mindfulness and community service. Exposure’s unique programming creates an outlet for women and girls to build confidence, community, education and healthy mental and physical well-being. The Special Events and Operations VISTA will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of programming and events, allowing Exposure Skate to reach and serve more individuals in the community. If you are timely, efficient, a self-starter, self-motivated, communicate well, and take instruction well, this is the right fit for you!

Member Duties : The VISTA at Exposure Skate will be part of the 2025-26 Coach Across America VISTA cohort of 53 members. The Special Events and Operations Associate VISTA will be supporting the development, execution, expansion and reporting of programmatic events and classes. This role will entail developing tools and materials to garner support and awareness for programs, gathering data for program reporting and using said materials and communication skills for partnership acquisition and developing programmatic efficiency. The role will also entail volunteer recruitment and communication for said programs and events. Additionally, the VISTA will collaborate with the Marketing Associate VISTA in capturing and creating assets to be used for social media.
