Member Duties : Coordinating logistics of public events, including venue management, AV setup, staging, livestreaming, and volunteer coordination. Working with students to promote public events, including postering, tabling, graphic design, social media, short video creation, and traditional media. Developing guest lists, contact procedures, and relationships with business executives, non-profit leaders, university experts, and public officials. Organizing workshops and policymaker briefings on specific problem and solutions, or in coordination with large public events. Assisting with office administration, including database updates and fiscal tracking. Develop follow-up plans after events, including issue summaries, participant surveys, follow-up meetings, and, in some cases, publications to spotlight actionable solutions to government and social problems. Assist with management of podcast and video channels, so that forums continue to build audience after production.
