4-H VISTA - Evans County
 
 
 
As a VISTA member you will have the opportunity to serve 4-H youth and volunteers! This will be done through recruitment and retention strategies, coordination and resource development of STEM activities, and fund development to support educational programming that is fun and engaging for both youth and leaders. Your service will also help ensure that the children of Evans County, Georgia, have access to a safe environment, caring adult mentors, and the opportunities to learn so that they can break the cycle of poverty. The Evans County 4-H VISTA project will build the capacity of Evans County 4-H through the development of a functional and sustainable volunteer system, increasing marketing efforts, sustainable fund development, and work to establish STEM and S.A.F.E. related programs throughout the county.

Member Duties : The VISTA member will assist the site supervisor in volunteer recruitment and management, coordinate and develop STEM activities for 4-H youth, and lead fund development opportunities for supporting engaging research based educational youth programming.
