Program & Resource Development VISTA- Wesley Community Ctr.

Since 1949, Wesley Community Centers of Savannah, Inc.’s mission is to enhance the economic, educational, and spiritual growth, through excellence in early learning care and services, for women, children, and families. Wesley serves more than 4,000 homeless and low income women, children, and families each year. Many are classified as the working poor, the elderly, and people with differing abilities. Wesley works to help people exit poverty and become self-sufficient. Wesley strives to: • Address basic human needs. • Provide a safe and supportive place to learn, share, and voice opinions. • Encourage a broad-based community forum dedicated to building trust and understanding for all. The Wesley Program & Resource Development Associate will work to build capacity for Wesley Community Center's programs. Duties will include: assisting with agency fundraising needs and enhancing the method of tracking donation and cultivating donors, assisting with communications materials to promote programs/activities, assisting with volunteer recruitment and retention, enhancing volunteer training materials, and assisting to document and communicate program outcomes to demonstrate impact.

Member Duties : The Wesley Program & Resource Development VISTA will work to build capacity for Wesley Community Center's programs.
