Boys & Girls Clubs of Border Towns -Resource Development

The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Indian Country (BGCIC) is to carry out the BGCA mission for Native youth. The proposed VISTA project aligns with the Education and Economic Development focus areas. The VISTA project will seek to increase the impact and effectiveness of grant-funded youth programs at Native Boys & Girls Clubs and provide workforce opportunities for Native young adults, with an expectation to benefit over 2,000 Native youth and their communities. VISTA members will contribute to the goals of the project by supporting the integration of best practices into grant-funded youth programs at Native Clubs over five years.
