Economic Opportunities Worker

NyE Communities Coalition is a 501(c)3 that is dedicated to providing resources, education and training to low-income individuals. We emulate health and wellness through our organization and to our community. We currently serving Nye County, the 3rd largest county in the country, Esmeralda County and Lincoln County. NyE Communities Coalition is surrounded by beautiful mountains that are great for camping, rock climbing, hiking, and 4X4. We are also close to Red Rock Canyon and Las Vegas. We are eager to meet enthusiastic, motivated, and community-minded people to join our team! While we will provide plenty of guidance and support, we also value innovation and creativity for accomplishing our mission to grow healthy, sustainable communities. The development and Impact Coordinator will design and develop tools that can be used to help build career pathways. They will identify useful assessment tools and gain information on Nevada's sector's to develop and create new initiatives.

Member Duties : Members are placed with our Workforce team at Nye Communities Coalition. They will research and gain an understanding of Nevada's sectors and will create linkages that will help individuals explore career pathways. They will identify and engage low income participants by working with TANF and other organizations. The member will create MOU's, protocol and processes and train other staff members.
