Re-Entry Services Resource VISTA -Atlanta
 
 
 
The VISTA duties will include: completing research to modify a Resource Guide that identifies programs, services and assistance to address the various employability barriers of individuals with criminal backgrounds; developing a recruitment plan that will identify organizations, agencies and programs that serve individuals with criminal backgrounds; reviewing and updating all training materials that are used to support the workforce development, cognitive realignment and life skills workshops; developing programmatic policies for data tracking using the Sales Force system; researching and developing an effective volunteer database; developing a sustainable volunteer recruitment strategy, targeting the residents of the neighborhoods we serve; reviewing, updating and operationalizing a resource development plan for returning citizens and other Integrity clients; identifying potential funders and establishing meeting protocols to introduce these funders to Integrity's programming that serves returning citizens.

Member Duties : The Re-Entry VISTA duties include the development of plans, policies, strategies and templates toward recruitment, policies, volunteer recruitment, funders and partners. Specific duties include: conducting research to expand the Resource Guide that identifies programs, services and assistance to address employability barriers of individuals with criminal backgrounds; identifying channels to recruit new volunteers to assist with programming for returning citizens. The VISTA member will also enhance existing plans to identify workforce development and other resources for returning citizens; perform research to identify potential funders and establish meeting protocols to introduce organizations to Integrity’s workforce development training; develop a funding template that can be utilized for different funding opportunities; attend community outreach events and develop and/or build upon partnerships with organizations whose missions are similar to Integrity’s.
