23 VISTA Arizona Serve - JobPath Resource Coordinator
 
 
 
JobPath’s mission is to improve the economic status of underserved adults by removing barriers to educational achievement so that they can lead healthier and more prosperous lives. They believe that when there is equal access to economic opportunity a thriving community follows. One in which everyone has the power of choice: choice of job prospects, choice to purchase a home, and choice to save for the future! The AmeriCorps VISTA Resource Coordinator will develop new referral pathways and evaluate the efficacy of JobPaths' efforts to re-engage low-income individuals in education pathways. They will assess the current partnership network, and the needs of current and potential beneficiaries, and create new partnership pathways that respond to the needs of beneficiaries as well as current economic opportunities in Southern Arizona.

Member Duties : The VISTA will manage the resource navigation document, updating and adding information throughout the service term. This will allow individuals and families in the Southern Arizona region to have a one-stop document to access help for a variety of needs. Identify intended outputs and outcomes of JobPath's services and referral network. THe VISTA will then develop quantitative and qualitative data collection processes and instruments to measure the efficacy of JobPath's programming according to the outputs and outcomes identified previously. Collaborate with JobPath's Student Success Coaches to facilitate referrals to external organizations. Additionally, create monthly electronic communications to target individuals interested in enrolling in school. These tasks will assist JobPath's mission of improving the economic status of underserved adults by building capacity, allowing the program to reach more individuals and more effectively reduce poverty in Southern Arizona.
