Boys and Girls Club of the High Rockies

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the High Rockies (BGCHR) work to inspire and enable youth ages 5 - 18 years old through programs that support Healthy Lifestyle, Academic Success and Good Character and Leadership. Through before and after school opportunities BGCHR strives to address the gaps in opportunities experienced by rural youth. AmeriCorps members work closely with teachers, guardians, other service providers, and especially the children ages 6-14, to strengthen a youth's academic performance. The BGCHR AmeriCorps members are advocates for the children in the classroom during the school year and help to provide a safe environment for children to grow and experience the world after school and during the summer. If you enjoy youth and want to serve children who need additional academic support to experience success and see their potential for the future, you would be a wonderful addition the the BGCHR team.
