| Member Duties : AHEC working in collaboration with various agencies serving the West Central Texas Region work on capacity builiding and program development. The VISTA will be based in Abilene to work for the development and delivery of community based programs. The focus of the AHEC VISTA program is to create programs to meet the needs of the underserved, ethnic minority, and economically disadvantaged populations.
