American Printing House for the Blind
 
 
 
The American Printing House for the Blind is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit. In 1879, APH was mandated by Congress to provide educational materials to students working below college level. this material includes braille and large print books, educational aids, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) products, accessible tests and software for computer programs and applications.

Member Duties : The American Printing House for the Blind is the Nation’s largest and oldest nonprofit working with people who are blind or visually impaired. The VISTA Member will oversee our national free print-braille book program for preschool children. Maintain database, write grants, and conduct surveys of the program to assess outcomes. Conduct community outreach and work with corporations to help underwrite the program. Develop and implement a marketing plan to promote the program.
