Mentor Coordinator

The DREAM Program, Inc. is a nonprofit mentoring and adventure organization dedicated to enriching the lives of the most vulnerable youth in our communities. Founded in Vermont, DREAM provides high quality mentoring, summer enrichment, and local and regional adventures, and a commitment to supporting young people. We believe that all children have an immense potential to contribute to our society and. seek a world in which all children have the opportunities, resources, and relationships necessary to achieve their dreams. DREAM’s mentoring model is based on the concept of “Village Mentoring,” in which mentors and mentees form positive and supportive relationships in both one-on-one and group-to-group settings. DREAM has received funding from the Department of Justice to roll out mentoring programs in Vermont between high school student mentors and elementary-aged mentees. The program would include mentor training and support, either formally in an academic setting or as an extracurricular experience.
